Trish Knox

President

With more than 25 years in marketing communications, Trish’s career includes a combination of agency and client experience that proves invaluable when operating in the corporate environment.

Trish’s marketing skills were honed in public relations and promotions where she managed sport marketing hospitality programs for some of the country’s leading brands (Petro-Canada, Labatt). She has guided clients through some of their most sensitive and high profile projects. She is accustomed to working with the highest level of officials in government and corporate organizations and is invited to the boardroom table to provide content, program direction and development. Trish leads the creative development for the agency, zeroing in on objectives, grasping the intangibles and coming up with a customized approach. Trish believes in the importance of embracing new ideas and blending the latest industry trends to event programs. The team is accustomed to hearing Trish ask “But what are we doing that is unique?”

As a music lover, friends have surmised that Trish was a DJ in another life and she is convinced that whatever the occasion, there’s a playlist for that. In her spare time, Trish likes to be chief cheerleader for her university kids’ activities; read and run–although not at the same time, and figures she deserves to splurge on Chai lattes.

Nathalie Saikaly

Director, Client Services

Nathalie brings an international and bilingual flavour to the TK Events team from her time based in Lebanon and Qatar. Prior to joining TK Events, she worked on the Arab Games Organizing Committee where she developed the branding guidelines and implemented the advertising campaigns and city activation plans for the Games.

While based in Qatar, Nathalie was also Director of Integrated Marketing for a global advertising agency, where she identified growth opportunities with existing clients and thus enhanced both the agency and client business. She led campaigns across industries in Banking, Real Estate, Sports, Education and Oil.

You can count on Nathalie to find the essence of your brand and deliver it through all event nuances. Nathalie has led the TK Events project management team for Salesforce executive events as well as Dell Canada events including high profile programs such as their flagship Customer event, Partner Summit, roadshows and Golf and Stampede events.

Nathalie is fluent in English, French and Arabic.

On weekends, Nathalie satisfies her obsession for shoes. … although, prior to her career, Nathalie spent most of her life in running shoes as part of her international competitions in track and field!

Josh Shepherd

Technical Lead

First, let us say that Josh is multi-skilled in people management; this is evident in his ability to remain unflustered at being the lone male on an all-female events team. Gentlemen, you may want to sign up for an ‘advice by Josh’ session.

Josh is our resident techie. He leads development for TK Events and the technical aspects of the company’s registration platform for onsite management.

Josh has led event operational and technical vision as a solution specialist for over twenty years in the IT industry. He uses his creative insight to merge inspiring technology solutions with real and tangible needs on a personal level.

He leads the development of conference and event websites, invitations and the networking and technical requirements of onsite registration, providing customers with a positive conference experience from the moment they arrive.

Josh puts together the technical and business pieces we are looking for, adds a few of his own ideas and comes out with astonishing solutions. His skills allow us to continually leap-frog the industry status-quo.

In his spare time, Josh is a volunteer fireman, backcountry kayaker, craft brew-master extraordinaire and believes that life only gives back what you put into it.

Cassandra Holmes

Senior Account Manager

Cassandra joins the TK team to lead our large conference programs bringing with her a solid background in planning high profile events. She manages complex and ever-changing programs for clients such as D2L, GMC Software Technology and Softchoice.

As Deputy Venue Manager for the Toronto 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games, Cassandra was responsible for managing the track and field competition venue which included liaising with key stakeholders at all levels of government, developing logistics and risk plans, managing a large roster of volunteers and managing logistics. The Athletics venue was also home to the Parapan Am Opening ceremonies, where Cassandra led internal and external teams, managing logistics and integration of event operations amongst all parties.

Cassandra is accustomed to operating at the executive level. In previous roles she was part of the planning team for the high profile Munk debates and the Globe and Mail Small Business Summit.

In her spare time, you’ll find Cassandra at yoga and in the summer, you’ll find her heading out of the city with friends for a weekend of camping.

Watch out for her posts on Instagram, she’ll school you on photo creativity – honest.

Epiphany Bourque

Senior Account Manager

Piph brings her writing skills to the TK team from her background in public relations. Along with it, our clients gain an experienced event planner. Her ability to communicate client stories both verbally and in writing has allowed her to contribute to an array of amazing projects.

Piph has planned events for global luxury brands, as well as achieving international and local media in the hospitality industry.

Piph leads the management of Dell Canada roadshows and customer hospitality events with an eye to detail and always with a creative flair. Above all, clients love that Piph can anticipate their needs, keep projects on track and deliver on time, on budget and above expectations.

Piph is our go-to girl to resource restaurants and chefs  – worldwide – no kidding. Ask her for a suggestion for any city and she’ll have a recommendation for you!

An east coast girl, Piph has found her home in the heart of downtown Toronto. She loves to travel and you may have spotted her VW van in a recent cross-country road trip.

Nancy Quaegebeur

Account Manager

Nancy has been an integral part of the TK team supporting client programs such as Dell Canada flagship events, PointClickCare Summit, Softchoice Launch and Salesforce executive events. She’s a master at wearing many different hats while delivering on details for conference logistics.

Previously, Nancy was a Marketing and Communications Assistant, coordinating events at Great Place to Work® where a significant part of her job was to plan the annual Great Place to Work® Conference and Awards Ceremony as well as a full day conference and smaller workshop events.

Nancy is accustomed to managing the sensitivities around executive programs and juggling ever-changing client needs.

When she’s not working, Nancy likes to travel and in the summer months you can find her hanging out at music festivals.

Ashley Falardeau

Account Coordinator

With a background in hotel sales and catering, Ashley delivers venue selection and management for TK Events clients, managing the intricacies of venue logistics, floor plans and menu planning.
Ashley manages a wide range of conference and hospitality events with an eye to providing an elevated customer experience from the moment of arrival to the closing curtain.

Ashley has been the force behind Dell Canada events from coast to coast, including annual customer and partner conferences, roadshows and customer appreciation events.

She is TK Events resident foodie and is known for her ability to keep abreast of the latest in food trends and drink pairings.

On weekends, Ashley has difficulty juggling her artsy and athletic sides, often faced with the dilemma in the summer months of attending the theatre or fueling her Blue Jays fandom.

Nicole Dal Ferro

Registration Coordinator

Nicole is one of the newest members of the TK team coordinating registration and managing room blocks for conferences and events.

Before joining TK Events, Nicole was a Resource Coordinator for an IT firm based in the GTA and specialized in Government Services recruiting and sales, where she focused on building portfolios with new and existing clients, as well as sourcing ideal candidates for RFP’s and taking on various marketing initiatives. She brings her skills as a recent graduate from Wilfrid Laurier University with a Bachelor of Business Administration and specialization in international business.

A high energy, social person, Nicole has a love for the outdoors – enjoying hiking and traveling. It appears there’s a wanderlust theme amongst the TK team – Nicole completed a study tour through India and after graduating spent three months backpacking through Europe and South East Asia.

Natalie Martysiewicz

Account Coordinator

Natalie is an integral part of the TK team supporting clients such as Dell EMC Canada, Salesforce, and Facebook Canada. She’s a master at juggling multiple projects and taking initiative to keep event programs on track.

Previously, Natalie graduated from the University of Guelph where she studied English Literature. She went on to further her skills at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, completing a post-graduate program specializing in Event Management. Natalie’s knowledge of client relations and her ability to develop effective resolutions comes from her experience in the Retail and Real Estate industries.

Natalie has held a series of event coordination roles under both corporate and non-profit umbrellas, providing support to account teams and responsible for sourcing and communication with suppliers while managing sponsorship programs and deliverables.

When she’s not working, Natalie is busy enjoying various events throughout the city; including but not limited to concerts and supporting Toronto sports teams. Having worked for a luxury beauty retailer, Natalie is often found researching product reviews and testing the waters with the latest beauty trend. She is always looking for the best cup of coffee to pair with a good book and claims if she could eat breakfast for every meal, she would!

Patty Chisamore-Robert

Registration Coordinator

Patty joins the TK events team with years of experience in the event planning industry, and is excited to help her clients facilitate the registration process.

Before joining TK, Patty supported the execution of events in both the private and public sector, ranging from professional development workshops to large concerts. Working for Public Health Ontario, Patty lead registration for their jointly-hosted annual conference, which attracted 1,000 attendees. Her love of organization and experience in customer service allow her to communicate strongly with attendees, making sure they start their event experience on the highest note.

When she isn’t in the office, Patty fuels her love of cardio workouts. On weekends, you’ll most likely find her in a Goodlife fitness class, jogging outside, reading a scientific journal, or indulging in her biggest love: chocolate.

Rachel Li

Registration Coordinator

A perpetual learner, Rachel is filled with enthusiasm and eagerness, supporting the registration team at TK. Rachel is our very first co-op student and currently studying communications and business at the University of Waterloo.

Rachel is curious about taking the most innovative approach in all her tasks. She utilizes her creative talent by taking charge of TK’s social media platforms and inspiring the team with her plethora of new ideas. Prior to this co-op, Rachel was an Event Coordinator at the University of Waterloo’s School of Accounting and Finance.

In her free time between school and work, she is an avid social media influencer and constantly updating her online platforms. You can also find her in the kitchen on a Sunday evening baking chocolate chip cookies. She is also a self-proclaimed dim sum enthusiast and ice cream connoisseur.

Shelbi Benedetti

Account Manager

After traveling and landing in various event roles internationally, Shelbi has returned home and we’re happy to have her join the TK team. As a graduate of the University of Guelph’s Business, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Shelbi brings her customer service acumen to managing events.

Drawing on her experience that spans from inns in South Florida to Niagara wineries, Shelbi finds a way to bring a unique flavor and character to any event. She has managed gala events on the USS Midway in San Diego and across Canada for TK Events clients, bringing the client’s brand and vision to life.

As a project manager, Shelbi is the queen of multi-tasking for clients such as Dell EMC, Salesforce and Quadient.

Not surprisingly when she’s not heads down on an event, you can find Shelbi traveling (preferably somewhere hot) and keeping up with food and wine trends. At home, Shelbi loves to hang out with her puppy or take in the latest movie releases.

Christy Knox

Production Coordinator

After graduating from Sheridan College Journalism program, Christy interned at the Marilyn Dennis Show in Toronto. She has gained valuable studio production experience that translates to her role as production coordinator at TK Events.

Christy coordinates all aspects of staging and manages a/v for conferences and roadshows, including onsite Stage Management and Producing. She is a master at deftly managing through high profile client productions in constantly changing environments and briefing speakers and executives for their onstage presentations.

When she’s not working you’ll find Christy working out with her personal trainer and hanging out with friends. Christy is meant for the production life, there’s no need for fancy dinners, you can always win her over with a plain ‘ol serving of chicken nuggets.
