A modern event space with warm lighting, wooden seating, and a reflective ceiling. A central bar and stage setup add to the ambiance, while guests gather on tiered seating in the background.

We're continuing our series of tips from TK Events travels with our Insider's Guide to the best restaurants London. With a TK Events office in the UK, the Brits on our team have got you covered when it comes to the hottest spots and authentic London experiences. From the best private dining rooms to intimate spaces and must see experiences - here it is: London's Best.

Private Dining Rooms

Who can resist a ceiling dripping with wisteria? Mr Fogg's Treehouse venue in central London invites you to "follow the tree trunk up the flower adorned staircase to find the treehouse." With the wisteria covered canopy of trees, floral themed furnishings and botanical inspired artwork you have an instant event environment. You'll find plenty of Mr Foggs around London to choose from for your private events.

If you're looking for a "hidden oasis" in the city - look no further than Florattica Rooftop. Located in East London on the 11th floor of Canopy by Hilton the rooftop bar is inspired by the rich heritage of east London’s textile industry - with floral installations adorning the ceilings to delicate silk furnishings, the restaurant is a play on the words flower and attic - here it's almost as if you've uncovered a secret treasure in the city. Who can resist when the head mixologist, Eleonora explains her cocktail list is written in the language of flowers.

Location and glamour in the Square at The Trafalgar St. James, Curio Collection by Hilton - the height of sophistication. With three separate dining options including a plush wine bar to The Rooftop overlooking the Square it's a place to feel all the London tourist vibes.

More Event Spaces

When a venue is heralded as an indoor rainforest - it turns into a must have event space for us. Barbican Conservatory is the second largest conservatory in London and boasts of a "hidden tropical oasis." While guests mingled at the reception amid the lush gardens, a surprise performance unfolded on the walkway above at our client's reception for 100 guests. Warm lighting accents the forest decor as day turns to night. It's the perfect space to surprise and delight your audience.

Stunning and iconic The Tower Bridge is a showstopping event experience. Options include: the panoramic high-level Walkways, the majestic Victorian Engine Rooms and the the North Tower Lounge. If there's a philanthropic objective for your event - the venue's mission is to promote sustainability and by booking you also support a charity that provides support for the homeless.

Creativity and the arts meet at Somerset House, a neoclassical building in the heart of London. This spectacular historic venue has been the setting for brand activations and film locations, fashion shows and immersive events. Private rooms, terraces, indoor and outdoor space - let your event imagination run wild!

London is full of history and there is no lack of historic venues to choose from. For a larger private event for 300 guests the Cutty Sark was the perfect backdrop to create a night to remember. Steeped in heritage and with a sweeping perch on the Thames River, the ship was built in 1869 as a tea faring vessel. We took over the entire venue from the Dry Dock - a dramatic event space where you can reach up and touch the copper hull of the ship, where we set the space greeting guests with a line of champagne servers, a stunning bar featuring branded, tea-infused cocktails, and food stations created in a classic British Picnic style with an abundance of floral accents. Roaming Oyster Shucking service and a whiskey tasting station, rounded out the British theme. The ship might have been rocking with the traditional British foot stomping band. Guests were able to tour the entire ship including the outdoor Weather Deck with views of London and Canary Wharf and the historic cargo spaces. Black cabs and London trams transported attendees to the event.

Housed in an old Department Store featuring floor to ceiling windows, an in-house distillery, a feature island bar and a terrace - the multi story Canova Hall Brixton is an impressive and versatile space, boasting beautiful architecture.

Best Restaurants London

Of course we are foodies at heart and our London team will have you enjoying the best food and drink, while exploring all the neighbourhoods.

Go fancy before a west end show and dine at Bob Bob Ricard. They have the "press for champagne" button at every table and are heralded as one of London's "most glamorous and iconic restaurants."

From the Big Mama group of Italian restaurants - (their website is the most fun you've ever visited we promise). With Circolo Popolare, Gloria's, and more hot spots around London where they prepare a cheesy pasta mixed in a pecorino wheel in front of you before serving, or their famous truffle pasta dish, pick a neighbourhood and just go!

What is London without a visit to a pub, or two or more? The Churchill Arms is one of the city's most historic pubs. With climbing florals covering the exterior in summer and Christmas trees and festive lights in winter - it's a landmark worth visiting.

Also not to be missed: A James Bond original Martini at Dukes (there's a two order limit due to how strong they are!!)

The best pie and mash at The Windmill Mayfair
