When Fortinos set out to celebrate their top franchisees and partners, the TK Events team brought our blend of project, event and destination management to the company’s annual travel and reward program.
Understanding the client’s audience drove all our planning decisions. From personalized travel arrangements and to-the minute communication in our mobile app, to 4 full days of customized on and offsite experiences, to staying behind when winter weather delayed flights for some of the guests – our customer service first approach meant a white glove experience for Fortino’s one hundred invited guests.
The design of a Travel Reward and Recognition Event for Fortinos sparked increased engagement and meaningful connections.
The client wanted the full advantage of an event agency with an objective of bringing a refreshed approach to their 25+ year annual program. TK Events brought expertise of creative concepts along with end-to-end project and event management while leveraging our international network of destination venues and local suppliers.
The Event
A weeklong memorable experience where guests not only celebrated their successes together but were immersed in customized activities that married the company’s culture with the beauty and uniqueness of the destination.
- Site sourcing with a focus on a 5 star luxury experience.
- Destination: sunny Barbados
- An experience that began with gifted mail-out invitations, personalized travel booking, greeters at the Toronto airport, private airport transfers and a white-glove concierge style check-in at the hotel.
- 2 days of business meetings and production management with a fully integrated partner presentation program, live entertainment, and a show stopping awards celebration.
- Dedicated on-site concierge and event app for on-the-go FAQ’s, dine-arounds and reservations, off-site personal transportation and hosted activity booking.
- 4 Hosted activities, custom designed and enhanced to go above and beyond the traditional excursion experience.
- 1 group excursion to experience a one-of-a-kind polo match and garden party.
- 1 epic beach party where guests let loose in a beach Olympics competition before a traditional Bajan feast and dance party.
- A partner sponsored appearance and culinary experience by Celebrity Chef David Rocco
- A Private President’s Dinner.
- A thoughtful partner program that incorporated partner sponsored entertainment, new products launches, live cooking demos with the celebrity chef, as well as an extensive gifting program that included international shipping logistics.
- An elevated attendee experience with a first ever mobile app for the program, complete with gamification. The TK Events event technology team crafted a custom program to increase engagement by creating an online scavenger hunt and trivia game for prizes.
