With the combined creative energy, stunning 3D graphics from our design team, along with custom work from our developers, the Sundance virtual event was a super-human effort from our team. We created a bespoke festival experience with the creation of the Virtual #DellTechDen for Dell’s sponsorship of the Sundance Film Festival.
The annual festival celebrates the arts and film, and in 2021 the festival was completely digital. The platform within a platform achievement by the TK Events team in conjunction with the festival platform was a first. The virtual Dell Technologies Den was a showcase for technology and consumer experiences. The platforms coexisted together but once users left each platform, each portal was completely autonomous. Dell’s ‘invitation only’ access to the Dell Technologies Den provided exclusive private screenings and access to tastemaker appearances with festival panels and celebrities including Viola Davis and Mindy Kaling. The immersive and interactive experience featured a main stage, an outdoor winter lounge complete with a bar showcasing specialty drink recipes, and access to Dell content and videos. A live chat kept attendees connected and engaged.
If you're wondering about the power of virtual sponsorships - the results tell an impressive story:
The #DellTechDen saw over 1200 registered users with a social reach of 5.7 million. Dell Technologies promotions saw over 300k impressions. The Sundance Institute Dell specific posts achieved over 6,532,544 impressions for Dell Technologies.
